News About The Club

March is a special month as we celebrate both International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month—a time to recognize the incredible contributions of women who lead, serve, and inspire. At South Austin, we are proud to honor the remarkable women who strengthen our club and community through their leadership, service, and dedication.

Rotary has a long-standing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and our club is privileged to have strong women leaders making a difference every day. Whether spearheading service projects, mentoring future leaders, or advocating for impactful causes, these women exemplify the Rotary motto of Service Above Self.

South Austin Rotary is all about service, community and family! Our member spotlight for March is Ann Graham. Ann joined Rotary in 1993 and has served as President of the South Austin, Lubbock, and Austin Rotary Clubs. She has travelled to India for Rotary Polio Inoculation Days. Ann and her husband Stan are Rotary International Foundation Major Donors, 2nd Level. They love Rotary International Conventions and invite you to join them in Calgary this year.

We're thrilled to announce our recent initiative with TerraClear during the Amplify Austin campaign. Thanks to your generous support, we were able to match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $1000! This means every dollar contributed went twice as far towards providing clean water solutions in Laos through TerraClear. Just $40 can provide a family with a clay water filter, ensuring clean drinking water for up to five years. Your generosity is making a real impact on communities in need. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
