Don't forget to attend the Golf Tournament meeting on Thursday March 22nd. It will start at 6:00pm at the Tres Amigos on 360. We want make this another successful event for our Club so everyone's help is needed.

Onion Creek Country Club - Excellent Food!

Everyone seemed to be having a great time at the Onion Creek Country Club at the Casino Night presented by the Rotary Club of Onion Creek on Saturday March 3rd. What really impressed me was the excellent food! Although a meal was not served; we all enjoyed the substantial hors d’oeuvres that included roast beef, stuffed mushrooms, assorted cheeses and fruits among many other wonderful items. I'm definitely looking forward to the dinner that will be served at this venue after our club's upcoming golf tournament. Make sure to save the date of Saturday May 12th to join us for the South Austin Rotary Club's 15th Annual Charitable Golf Tournament. Hope to see you there!

Estate Planning Presentation by Mario Flores on 2/15/12

At our last meeting we had the opportunity to hear Mario Flores speak on Estate Planning. He provided general information on this topic and is available to assist with any specific questions that you may have. Busy Weekend Saturday February 11th and Sunday February 12th

We have a busy weekend in store with the District 5870 Foundation Dinner on February 11th and our Sweethearts Brunch on Sunday February 12th. See the District Website for details on the Foundation Dinner that will be held at the Westin Hotel at the Domain. The Sweetheart Brunch will be at Green Pastures from 11:00am until 2:00pm. This is a wonderful restaurant and a great opportunity to bring a guest (or guests) for an excellent brunch. Don't forget to reply to the Evite. The cost is $44 per person.

A Taste of Circle C Home Show will be held at Kiker Elementary School cafeteria (5913 La Crosse Avenue) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012. It is sponsored by Home Base along with the support of the Rotary Club of South Austin.

Come join the fun, sample the food provided by area restaurants, meet local vendors; all while the kids have fun in the bounce houses and other activites. There will also be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle.

Vendors include electricians, plumbers, air conditioning specialists, window and window treatment products, painters, carpenters, cabinetmakers, flooring and millwork, interior design, landscapers, lawn and garden maintenance, irrigation specialists, tree trimmers and arborists, outdoor play systems, outdoor room builders, housekeeping and window cleaning and many more.

The cost is $5 for adults and no charge for children. All proceeds will be donated to Kiker Elementary School.
